International Study Tour: Japan in Focus

The Thai Seed Trade Association (THASTA), in cooperation with Japan Seed Trade Association, is organizing an international study tour program on Japan Seed Industry which will be held on 11 – 15 November 2024. 

The Chiba Branch of JASTA has designed a program to let THASTA members see the latest on vegetable and ornamental seed variety breeding, how Japan is dealing with current issues on PVP and IPR, and get the chance to see the latest application of gene editing in the country. Participants will also have exclusive field tours in highly reputable Japan seed companies where they will get the opportunity to learn about their latest products and services.  At the same time, Japan’s seed companies, their breeders, and researchers will be invited to participate in the exchange and discussions. This is a chance for THASTA members to be updated on the latest seed variety trends and seed trade opportunities with our colleagues in Japan. 

We only have 30 limited slots to fill and we will accept on a first-come, first-served basis until 15 October or earlier if slots have all been filled.
